      A "woondienst" is a way of cooperation in Flanders between municipalities on the themes of housing/living. A "woondienst" adresses questions concerning renting, letting, building and renovation of dwellings, subsidies, energy-aspects,… Target groups are house owners, tenants and landlords. In the group, 3 of those cooperations are active: Woondienst Regio Roeselare (among others Lichtervelde, Moorslede), Woonwinkel regio Tielt (among others Meulebeke, Ruiselede, Tielt, Wingene) and woondienst regio Izegem (among others Ingelmunster, Oostrozebeke).

      A "bike route map to school" shows the students a safe cycling route to the primary/secondary school, gives tips and shows points of interest. Also sotps of public transport (bus, tram) are shown. The province hosts the website and supports municipalities in the project. The municipality is responsible for spreading the information.   • Creating a sustainable water balance by drawing up a 'hemelwaterplan'
    • Description:

      A 'hemelwaterplan' maps the current situation and visualizes where a separate sewer system is currently in place. The plan also mentions the locations with possible flooding and analyzes the infiltration possibilities in the different areas. Problem zones are indicated. This are zones where infiltration is difficult or where there is no possibility of draining rainwater through sewers, canals or waterways. For these areas optimal solutions are sought together with other water managers, neighbouring municipalities and important authorities.
